The Office of General Counsel sends and Inquiry letter when a complaint has been filed
against a representative. AT ACI we step in and aggressively defend the representative
against these allegations.
If your right to represent claimants were to be suspended for even one day you would have
to notify every client that you are unable to represent them due to disciplinary action. You
would then have to have the client sign new forms retaining you as their representative
when the suspension was over.
OGC sometimes requests a hearing for a two-year suspension or permanent removal from
your right to represent claimants. ACI knows how to properly defend the SS representative
against these charges.
If the matter is not properly handled your state bar is also notified of the allegations against
you. Call Jim Brown at 216-621-2022, if you receive a certified letter from the OGC.
